Our Vision:
We aim to protect the Lebanese food heritage through sustainable agricultural and rural development, in order to provide our customers with organic gourmet food and to ensure high ethics throughout the chain of production.
Our Concept:
Adonis Valley is an inspirational natural and cultural landmark of Lebanon. The area stretches out through a narrow river gorge from the 6,000-year old city of Byblos on the Mediterranean coast all the way to the mystic springs of Afqa, crowning the valley at more than 1,000 meters of altitude.
Adonis Valley’s temperate climate, abundant rainfall and unpolluted environment have preserved not only its exceptional biodiversity but also the culture and myths of its early Phoenician inhabitants, earning it worldwide recognition and classifying it as a World Heritage Site. It also inspired us to bring you the valley’s best kept secrets, The Adonis Valley Organic Products Line.
From our hometown Fatri, in the heart of Adonis Valley at 500 meters of altitude, we are continuing the tradition of excellence by promoting organic agriculture and by using traditional Lebanese and Mediterranean recipes to produce authentic specialty foods.
Our family of products are produced and manufactured in strict compliance with the “designation of origin” codes and in conformity with EU Regulations for organic agriculture(EC) N. 834/2007 and N.889/2008. Both the process and the products are controlled and certified by the Italian certification body: “IMC”. Our organic operator certification code is L 0206.
At Adonis Valley, our raw materials are not only produced at our farmhouse, but our unique varieties are tested in our “Jardin caché” plot at 700 meters of altitude in Adonis Valley. Based on our social commitment and policy of equality and non-discrimination towards religious groups and gender, a substantial part of our production is allocated to Lebanese famers who grow organic products in various Lebanese remote areas; we offer them support on many levels, such as providing them with seeds, organic certifications, technical support, networking, and insuring them to buy all their production at a fair price. Finally, the organic raw materials reach our factory at Adonis Valley to be transformed into high quality certified organic gourmet food.
Our Mission Statement
Adonis valley’s identity is to:
